Finnegan shoots weddings, and his old site buried the actual photography behind slow-loading pages and a gallery that never quite worked right on mobile.
The goal here was to get out of the way of the work: big, fast-loading galleries, minimal chrome around them, and a booking enquiry that doesn't make people hunt for it.
We built it as a custom Next.js site rather than another page builder, mainly so image-heavy pages could actually load quickly.

Galleries now load properly fast even at full resolution, which matters a lot when the whole site's job is to show off photos.
He booked two weddings directly off the new site in the first month it was live.
It finally looks and feels like a working photographer's site, not a hobby portfolio.

"My portfolio finally looks as good as my shots. Booked two weddings off the back of it in the first month."
